MONUMENTA submitted an application for the classification of a remarkable two-storey building of the modern movement, from the 1930s, at 87 Skiathou Street. Twice it managed to prevent the demolition with the timely intervention of the Service of Modern Monuments and Technical Works of Attika, Eastern Stereas Elladas and Cyclades and the Building Service of the Minicipality of Athens. The contribution of the residents to the protection of the building was decisive!

On March 22, 2024, MONUMENTA was notified by Service of Modern Monuments and Technical Works of Attika, Eastern Stereas Elladas and Cyclades of the Transmission to the Directorate of Protection and Restoration of Modern and Contemporary Monuments of a documentation report on the classification or not as a newer monument.
